RA's

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) is a Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. This program helps to reach boys for Christ by emphasizing missions activities and Scripture memorization. Along the way they'll also learn camping skills and become involved in a variety of fun activities while learning about and raising funds for various missions.

The RAs of Philadelphia Baptist Church meet on Wednesdays at 6:30p.m. We have about 18 RAs on role at this time. We are currently using the Lifeway RA material and we are encouraging our boys to learn the below RA pledge by rewarding them with a pocket knife or RA bible. So far we have given out 10 knives and 1 bible. The RAs also take up offering on the last Sunday of every month.

THE ROYAL AMBASSADOR PLEDGE

As a Royal Ambassador I will do my best:
to become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ;
to have a Christ-like concern for all people;
to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world;
to work with others in sharing Christ; and
to keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body.

GA's

GA Pledge:

As a GA, I will do my best to live
a missions lifestyle that honors
God by learning about missions,
praying for missions,
giving to missions,
doing missions and participating in the work of the church.

Girls in Action (GA's) is a mission group for grade school girls that captures hearts "on the grow" and involves them in Christ's vision of reaching out to the world. This group allows girls to learn about their Lord and memorize scripture. We learn about different countries and the missionaries serving these countries.

Mission Friends

Mission Friends is for preschoolers through kindergarten. We are involved in learning, praying and doing missions. Our preschoolers become aware of God's love, and they learn that others need to hear about this good news!
